Speaking

Designing energy, resilience, and vitality into modern work and life. Trusted by corporate teams, founders, and high-performers.

We are living in the most technologically advanced era in history. And the most sedentary.

  • 75% of U.S. adults don’t meet activity guidelines

  • The average adult sits 9+ hours per day

  • Inactivity costs $117B annually

  • 5+ million deaths globally are linked to inactivity

BUT, this is not a fitness problem. It’s an energy problem. A performance problem. A longevity problem.

And increasingly, it’s a workplace problem.

My speaking work sits at the intersection of biology, behavior, and belief. I help organizations rethink movement not as a gym task or a wellness initiative, but as a daily biological necessity. Something that shapes how we think, lead, recover, create, and show up.

About Me

I’m Kyle Gonzalez, M.S., CSCS — a former Division I athlete turned performance coach, author of Move, Thrive, and Come Alive, and VP of Performance at Coya.

For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals and organizations translating health science into sustainable behavior change. My work has been featured in Men’s Health, NBC News, and The Washington Post, and I host The Vitality System podcast, where I explore performance, resilience, and modern health.

I don’t believe in extreme protocols. I believe in practical systems.

And I believe movement is one of the most underutilized performance tools available to us.

Keynote: Move, Thrive, and Come Alive

Reclaiming movement in a modern, convenience-driven world.

In this keynote, I explore a simple but powerful idea:

If we don’t intentionally design movement into our lives, our environment will design inactivity for us.

We’ve engineered effort out of our daily routines. Work is seated. Leisure is seated. Even much of our “exercise” is isolated to a 45-minute block we try to squeeze into an already full day.

This inevitably results in burnout, low energy, declining strength, and a slow erosion of resilience.

This is a high-energy, research-backed keynote that reframes movement as a daily biological necessity rather than a negotiable calendar block. Recognizing movement as a capacity-builder — something that improves sleep, cognition, stress tolerance, strength, and longevity. Rather than a punishment, for aesthetics, or as an optional lifestyle upgrade.

Audiences leave with practical systems they can implement immediately, whether they’re executives, founders, healthcare professionals, or high-performing teams.

Core Themes

  • Exercise vs. Movement: Why both matter, and why we need to expand the definition

  • The Sedentary Trap: How modern work quietly drains energy

  • Environment > Willpower: Designing spaces that make healthy behavior easier

  • The 1% Rule: Why 150 minutes per week is just 1% of your time

  • Use It or Lose It: Muscle, VO₂ max, strength, and longevity

  • Work + Rest = Success: Recovery as a performance strategy

  • Movement = Medicine: Building energy instead of chasing it

Interactive Experience

My sessions are far from passive. I want the audience to learn, yes, but also to feel and to leave with tools to take action. The goal is both awareness and activation. When appropriate, audiences may experience:

  • A Sit-to-Stand longevity challenge

  • Anti-sitting movement resets

  • A simple “exercise snack” activation

  • Real-time environment design challenges

  • Practical strategies for integrating movement into workdays
